Pixel Printed Food Lab
The Hub Gallery has been transformed into a retro-futuristic programming company for the summer school holidays!
Inspired by artist Michelle Le Plastrier's Food-O-Matic and Pixel Printed Foodcreations, the Hub Gallery is a playful 'food-tech lab' where you take on the role of programmers. Design the creative instructions that tell the Food-O-Matic what to print - invent new foods, hybrid meals, and discover delicious glitches.
This hands-on activation invites you to imagine the future of food production. You can reflect on how technology might change what we eat, how we eat, and the surprising side effects of prioritising speed and convenience.
